Bill Cosby Disagree With 2Pac
Typical of Cosby’s style of stinging and controversial commentary, he also faulted the love shown to the late rapper Tupac Shakur. He said it was crazy for Shakur, who was fatally shot in Las Vegas September 7th 1996, and his mother to enjoy the proceeds from Shakur’s drug sales.
"In the book, ‘To Momma With Love,’ or something like that, he is so happy that he’s able to take money from selling cocaine and give the money to his mother," Cosby said.
"How wonderful. Isn’t that wonderful. You’ve got to be kidding. How many lives have you ruined selling packets? How many mothers are not going to go to work because they want to snort? How many dead mothers because of crack, how many babies we got to make turn around because they are crack babies?"
Cosby said the house Shakur bought his mother should be adorned with the pictures of users who died due to drug use.
"Hang up the pictures of the people’s lives you ruined," Cosby declared.

Cosby should understant,we are all not the same and we respond to the sorrounding in different way depending on our cabability at any instance. Tupac had a very positive character and personality.He was just a victim of cirumstances and sometimes he had no choice except to do what he had to do at that moment cause he had to survive.He later urbadoned that crack business and even more challenges crept in in his strungle with his envinment......... When you are left with no option what do you do next?

some of these comments are funny, yet they bring up good points. i believe that pac got into drug sales because he was immersed into that environment due to his mom's background; i believe if he wasn't in the ghettos he would be on broadway performing and "selling" a different drug: his charisma. a human being graduates from one game to another, from crack sales to rap/rhyme sales. a different type of transaction, ut nonetheless, a transaction to get you hooked. i am addicted to pac's rhymes. give me someone that had the conscious content similar to pac, and i'll be with it. bottom (white) line: the game is to be sold, not to be told.

No doubt Tupac was as real as they come. Unfortunately, he was full of consuming rage and that led to his burning up in his own fire. Bill Cosby is an intelligent man who is only making the true observation that Tupac's actions went opposite to what I think Tupac was really about. Of course I've never been in Tupac's shoes (thankfully) and I'd possibly be forced to do the same things he did to survive. I guess Bill Cosby is correct in that he is against the indecency of Tupac's selling drugs, but ignorant or simply unsympathetic to the strong circumstances and influences around Tupac that forced him into that situation. Both men are right from where they're coming from, and both of them are wrong too.
